Crackerwax

December 21st, 2009 · No Comments · Theme Songs

Crackerwax is the self-described Word’s Most Angry Scotsman, and I wouldn’t have the temerity to suggest there is an angrier Scotsman. Also, don’t worry – I may mention weaponry in this song, but I am not recommending you actually harm Crackerwax. It is a metaphor; you should sharpen your wit (like one would sharpen a weapon) when dealing with this gentleman. Is that dead horse flogged yet?

Also, in the interest of fitting into the rhythm of the song, I have ascribed Crackerwax his own definite article, at no extra charge.

About the song:

Requested to be a “rocky, fast paced belter”, this song turns out to be much more of all three than I imagined. the first line came pretty naturally, and the rest came after perusing his website. My brother Timm Gehrett (of Mean Mollys Trio in Ogden, UT) was kind enough to lend his lyrical stylings to give the song some extra punch. Isn’t the internet crazy?!? I don’t live anywhere near Odgen, UT! Also, I did not intend the middle section to be a Scott Weiland impression, but the 90s affected us all in one way or another, didn’t they?
